Kids’ Holiday Games - Painting with Colours of the Earth - July 29, 2009

The association „Fair Point" from St. Leonhard/Forst arranged Kids' Holiday Games on July 29. Nearly 50 children took part in them, different stations had been prepared. As the slogan "Colourful fair world" was entirely in the sign of the red Indians, painting with Colours of the Earth was especially ready at hand. After the children had been explained important information about soil and the various soil types (colours), respectively, they started out with enthusiasm. Great pieces of art came into existence. The paintings were hung up for drying, and the children were allowed to take them home after the Kids' Holiday Games.

Fair Point: The Association:

The entire name of this association is Fair Point - Fair Trade, Development Aid and Creation of Awareness. This shall express, what the members of the association stand for: Furthering and spreading of fair trade, surplus obtained shall be used for financing development aid projects, and information about opportunities and possibilities concerning development aid in relation to disadvantaged countries shall be given.

The association regards it as its task to inform about what the purchase of fair traded products shall achieve.

Fair Point intend to serve as a platform for all those, who feel solidarity towards the producers of goods, which we often consume without thinking, who are prepared to stand for more fairness, who wish to get to know different cultural groups. The association works on an honorary basis and without the intention to gain profits. Donations, membership fees and returns from sale are used for financing development aid projects.
