Soil Event at the Schallaburg Castle - August 2010

Enthusiasm among the old and the young!

Schallaburg Castle presents the yearly family event together with the family department of the Province of Lower Austria. On August 21 and 22, from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. the focus shall entirely be on the kids.

There were numerous workshop stations. Among the highlights, there certainly is to be mentioned the soil event stand of the Department of Rural Development.

Children, parents, grandparents and pedagogues gave full scope to their creativity in „Painting with the Colours of the Earth".

The visitors of the stand also gathered information about the activities within the scope of the campaign "Our soil - upon which we stand!" and the relevance that we shall sensibly use and carefully protect our soil, so that the coming generations as well shall have healthy soil beneath their feet.
