„OUR SOIL, UPON WHICH WE STAND“

Around 50 municipalities and other partners, together with the Province of Lower Austria are engaged in promoting soil protection through various activities and projects.

In the long run, it is a matter of creating awareness of the value of soil, to sensibly use soil, for instance through area-saving measures.
And to carefully protect soil through soil-friendly cultivation as well as through objective information and personal motivation of the population.
The Province of Lower Austria, especially the Department of Rural Development, have decided to create awareness concerning the topic of soil, among others, through an artistic activity for the community, "Painting with the Colours of the Earth".
